Some information you might want to have handy while visiting us:

Starting on about Wednesday of Hamboree Week, you can hear a lot of Information about the Hamboree and the surrounding areas on 147.555 MHz.    This is a 24 hour a day QST station.

For Live Talk-In help and local information, tune to 146.730 MHz, down 600 kHz.  This is a change from last year.  You'll find many people there who know Miami and will be happy to help you find places in Miami.

Looking for something to do other than be at the Hamboree? Here’s some local choices ranging from dining to shopping to movies! 

Here are two large local malls that are close to each other and what they have to offer! 

Dolphin Mall

This is one of the larger malls in the area and has a diverse selection of stores and things to do. There is a Dave and busters if you want to unwind at a pool table or arcade, there’s a Barnes and noble bookstore, a movie theater, there are a few outlet stores, a long list of specialty stores and restaurants and of course a Starbucks. getting to dolphin mall.

Direct access from Florida Turnpike's Exit 27 (Dolphin Mall Exit / NW 12 St.) the turnpike can be accessed from tamiami trail (SW 8^th ST) which is near the fair expo center. If coming via surface roads the mall can be accessed by going north on 107^th AVE to NW 14^th ST and making a LEFT. If you make a right you will be going towards Miami International Mall. Miami International Mall

This is another one of our larger malls though not quite as crowded as Dolphin Mall. its better suited for those that want to go shopping but don’t want to deal with popularity and crowds at Dolphin Mall. This mall features a Burdines,  Dillard’s, Sears,  JC Penney’s, Bath and Body works, Victoria’s Secret, and other nationally known chains. exit the fair grounds to SW 107^th AVE. go north to NW 14^th street. Miami International Mall will be on your right. If you turn left at NW 14^th street,  you will head towards Dolphin Mall. For detailed directions click here..

Dining, supermarkets, hardware stores, banks near the Hamboree

Within minutes of the Hamboree site you can find a multitude of stores. Here’s a list of stores that are all grouped together within two strip malls just minutes from Hamboree. 

To get to them you can exit the Hamboree site and heads towards the intersection of Coral way SW 107^th Ave. make a right, you’ll be going south. Go south to SW 40^th ST (Bird road) and make a right at the intersection of SW 40^th ST and 107^th AVE. Travel west towards turnpike and you will see a wide array of stores and restaurants on the right side.  

Coffee shops and breakfast

Dunkin Donuts is almost within walking distance of the Hamboree! As you leave the Hamboree and head towards SW 107^th AVE on Coral way (SW 24^th street) there will be a Dunkin Donuts on your right just before the intersection. 

IHOP is a short drive from the Hamboree site. Exit the Hamboree to Coral way and go east to SW 87^th AVE, make a left into the mall with the Winn Dixie on your left hand side just before you get to the intersection of 87^th AVE. the IHOP is on the corner next to the gas station and McDonalds. Starbucks coffee  The nearest standalone Starbucks store is a short drive from the Hamboree site. Exit the Hamboree site to Coral way (SW 24^th ST) making a left from the grounds, head towards SW 107 AVE, make a left at the intersection of 107 and Coral Way. Head north on 107^th AVE towards Tamiami trail (SW 8^th ST), at tamiami trail make a right and go east to SW 84^th AVE. Starbucks will be on your right in the strip mall.
